Childhood Immunisations

1.Doctor’s appointment

Book an appointment with your doctor (required for 6 week old babies and new patients, optional after that).

Expected fees are per the fee schedule found here
Immunisation fee of $30 – no medicare rebate.

2.Nurse appointment

Book an appointment with one of our accredited nurse immunisers – available for all childhood immunisations except babies at 6 weeks and new patients (a doctor needs to see 6 week old babies, or any new patients, prior to any immunisations being administered by the nurse immunisers)

Flu Vaccinations

1.  Nurse Appointment

Fee: $30 – no Medicare rebate ($10 for the nurse to administer the vaccine and $20 for the flu vaccine).

Flu Vaccine cost is $20 for private vaccinations, but is government funded if the patient is under 5, over 65, or anyone who has certain chronic illnesses or is pregnant.

2. Doctor’s appointment

Book an appointment with your doctor ONLY if you are a new patient, DVA patient or need to see the doctor for something other than the flu vaccination.

Travel Vaccinations

Initial visit
Half hour doctor’s appointment is required for your initial visit to assess and organise your travel medicine and vaccination needs.
