If you suspect that you have or have been exposed to a confirmed case of COVID-19, please contact the National Coronavirus Health Information Line for advice.

There are also testing clinics set up in hospitals at Monash Medical Centre, Clayton and The Alfred, Royal Melbourne Hospital and Box Hill Hospitals.

Currently we have run out of protective equipment required for testing for COVID-19 and thus are unable to see and assess suspected cases.

We will update this information when we receive more equipment. (13.03.2020)

STOP THE SPREAD

The best and most effective way to stop the spread of this virus to our vulnerable people is to:

  • Practice good sneeze / cough hygiene
  • Wash your hands frequently with soap and water, before and after eating, and after going to the toilet
  • Cover your cough and sneeze using a tissue or your inner elbow, if possible.
  • Dispose of tissues, and use alcohol-based hand sanitiser
  • If unwell, avoid contact with others (stay more than 1.5 meters from people)
  • wash hands

Please be aware that if you are swabbed for COVID-19, you are expected to self isolate until the results are back. This can take 3 days.
