Services without a doctor's visit
When services are rendered without a consultation, the following fees apply:
- repeat prescriptions $10
- referral letters $10
Note: Repeat prescriptions should be justified by a recent doctor's visit. Authority prescriptions (which require a phone call to Canberra) and initial referral letters would normally require a consultation. 24 hours notice is required for scripts & referrals & they are done at the individual doctor's discretion.
Workcover/TAC claims
Payment will be required at the time of treatment until a claim has been confirmed and a claim number provided. It is the patient's responsibility to apply for reimbursement from the appropriate authority, prior to a claim being established.
